Welcome, my name is Ethan Brown and, as said above, I am the sole Director of Breakthrough Bookkeeping Ltd and I’m here to share with you our ‘why?’. My company was born not just as a result of my personal career success, but from a mission to improve the climate of the accounting industry for the customer. A report from the International Accounting Bulletin finds that 42% of survey participants said that their accountant had “not lived up to their values and promises”, this to me is unacceptable! Having seen the frustration this had caused first hand, I embarked on the journey to become licenced to provide a service that I know will, not only improve that statistic but, give a high-quality, cost-effective, option to the consumers within the market. No longer will you be another client at the bottom of a list, at Breakthrough Bookkeeping Ltd we are partners working together for your financial success.
In my many years of experience, again and again I have seen brilliant entrepreneurs go into enterprise only to come out some time later as part of the vast amount of unsuccessful businesses in the UK. The Office of National Statistics report a less than 60% survival rate for UK companies after 3 years and I am certain that this can improve with effective financial education to business owners. At Breakthrough Bookkeeping Ltd we have made it our mission to make sure that every business owner, in whatever structure that presents, has the opportunity to learn and gain an understanding of what their financial information means in real terms. No longer will you be reduced to a client whom is posted a set of financial statements with little to no communication.
In line with our core missions above Breakthrough Bookkeeping Ltd has taken action to specialise in start-up businesses and Small/Medium Enterprises (SME’s) and we extend our network of coaches, mentors and industry professionals to any client who would value their input.
